AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES

  • By entering the competition you agree to these terms and conditions.
  • This competition is open to parents/guardians who are residents of the UK and aged 18 years and above, except employees of the Home Retail Group, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  • Only photographs of children aged between 0 -18 months old as at the 27th July 2012 will be accepted.
  • The closing date for all entries is 27th July 2012
  • You will retain the rights of ownership of your photograph used to enter the competition. However in consideration of the Home Retail Group providing the competition, you grant the Home Retail Group the world wide, irrevocable, royalty free license to use your photograph in any Home Retail Group publications, websites, promotional activities and any other materials, for 12 months from the closing date of the competition
  • By submitting your image and details you agree that any Material submitted by you for publication is done so on the following terms:
  • 1. You confirm that you are over the age of 18 or that you are the parent or legal guardian of any entrant submitted under the age of 18;
  • 2. You will not submit any material that is offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory or obscene;
  • 3. Your image must comply with Facebook’s image guidelines;
  • 4. You will not submit any material which infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party or in breach of any obligation of confidentiality by which you are bound – all material must be owned by or created by you;
  • 5. By entering you grant to us a 12 month royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such submissions in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes;
  • 6. We reserve the right not to publish the material submitted and to make additions or deletions to the material, prior to publication;
  • 7. We reserve the right to remove and/or delete the material submitted by you without notice;
  • 8. We reserve the right to cut and crop any photographs or graphical images submitted by you at our discretion and to alter any material such that we can make it available on the website;
  • 9. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the material you submit and that we do not screen the material prior to its publication on the website, and therefore any opinion submitted by you shall be accurate and/or genuinely held;
  • 10. We reserve the right to share your identity with any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to the website violates these user terms;
  • 11. We may identify you as the contributor of any material, and you waive any moral rights you may have in respect of our use of the material;
  • 12. Photographs must show only one child and may be shot in colour or black and white. All entrants should appear fully clothed in their shots;
  • 13. Only the first image uploaded per child will be considered for the competition and images cannot be amended once uploaded - if multiple images are submitted only the first image received will be considered;
  • 14. Children must not already be signed to another modelling agency;
  • 15. Professional shots are allowed but are not required;
  • There will be one winner and the prize will consist of:
    • A photoshoot with Emma Bunton to be used by Argos
    • £100 worth of Emma Bunton babywear
    • A modelling contract with Award Winning London Agency Alphabet Kidz
  • The winner will be selected by a judging panel consisting of Emma Bunton, Mum blogger Emma Vanstone (author of www.mummymummymum.com), a member of the Argos clothing team and Lisa Balcombe, Director of Alphabet Kidz Modelling Agency.
  • All entrants to the competition will receive a voucher code entitling them to a 25% discount when they spend £25 on Argos clothing between July 25th and August 5th, this is available online and instore.
  • If the prizes are not claimed within 5 days of the winners being notified, Home Retail Group reserves the right to award the unclaimed prize to an alternative winner.
  • Prizes are non transferable, non refundable and non negotiable. There is no cash alternative. Home Retail Group reserve the right to substitute the prize for one of its choosing which has the same or greater value than the original prize in the event of circumstances out of its control
  • By entering into the competition, you acknowledge and consent to the following: (i) to participate in publicity arising from this competition where required (ii) for your phototgraphs and details to be passed to third party administrators and contractors solely for the purposes of administering your entry and this competition.   • Home Retail Group reserves the right to (1) cancel this promotion, (2) cancel or refuse any individuals entry and (3) amend these terms and conditions (and will use reasonable endeavours to notify changes to entrants and potential entrants). These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  • By entering this competition, you consent to receiving marketing by email from Home Retail Group and carefully selected third parties.

      • - Once submitted, it usually takes 72 hours for your review, question or answer to appear on the website providing it adheres to our publishing guidelines.
      • - Your review can be submitted anonymously or if you prefer you can leave a ratings only review.
      • - It is not possible for you to edit/remove your review after submission.
